Description | Human Peripheral Blood B Cells (HPBB) provide useful tools for studying the pathology and biology of human B lymphocytes in vitro. We separate HPBB from the blood of healthy donors and cryopreserve it immediately after separation. These are the antibody-forming cells of the immune system, which originate from pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells and differentiate in the fetal liver. In adults, B cells mainly originate from the bone marrow. The newly generated mature B cells expressing Ig on the surface leave the bone marrow and circulate into the peripheral lymphoid organs. |
