Proliferating Human Internal Thoracic Smooth Muscle Cells (HITASMC), Adult: Actively growing, dividing cells in medium

Description Human Internal Thoracic Smooth Muscle Cells (HITASMC) are derived from normal intrathoracic arteries (previously called internal mammary arteries).
HITASMC and human coronary artery smooth muscle cells have been used to study the difference in gene expression between smooth muscle cells from different arteries, which is the basis for their differential response to injury and proliferation stimuli.
