Description | Mouse Neural Stem Cells (MNSC) have multiple functions and can be induced to differentiate into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes that make up the central nervous system (CNS). The neurospheres transplanted into the intact brain can survive within 3 weeks, expand and differentiate into mature neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. The ability of neural stem cells to retain the potential of multiple cell lines and proliferate extensively in vitro provides a new approach for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and injuries |
